Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Amelia island 2026, Schätzpreis 2,25 bis 2,75 Millionen Dollar, mit diesen Angaben: «Ordered by a prominent client well-connected to Porsche Exclusive, it completed production on 16 July 1992 and features among the most distinctive color combinations of any type 964, with its Midnight Blue Metallic exterior, Bordeaux leather interior, Amethyst Metallic wheel centers, and gold brake calipers. Nearly every surface is covered in either Bordeaux or dark blue leather, including the optional Matter roll cage, Schroth racing harnesses, and sport steering wheel, as well as the steering column, center console, gauge bezzles, air vents, switchgear, and turn signal stalks. The original owner ordered this Turbo S Lightweight as part of a small series of 964s built to his exacting standards by Porsche Exclusive, each with Amethyst wheel centers and opulently trimmed leather interiors. These are now some of the most desirable 964s in existence, coveted for their exclusive specifications and features. The original owner kept this example hidden away in his vast collection for many years until it was imported to the United States in 2009. The car has been a prominent fixture of the Todd Blue Lapis Collection since 2018, when it had just 95 kilometers. Mr. Blue has carefully enjoyed the car over the last seven years, making a few memorable appearances with it at Southern California events. At cataloguing time, the Turbo S Lightweight showed just 633 kilometers (393 miles) from new and remains in impeccable condition as one would expect for a car with such low mileage and conscientious ownership. Included with the sale of the car are a set of original tires, owner’s manuals, tools, first aid kit, certificate of authenticity, and service records.»

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, London 2016, Schätzpreis 1’000’000 bis 1’200’000 Dollar, nicht verkauft (Bilder oben). Und dann wieder RM Sotheby’s, Arizona 2023, zugeschlagen für 962’000 Dollar, angeboten mit folgendem Text: «Offered here is a fine example of a 964-chassis Turbo S Lightweight that was delivered new to Porsche’s Japanese distributor, MIZWA Limited in Tokyo, and thence to its first owner. As such, this car wears various Japanese-mandated safety and emissions labeling. The car was imported to the United States by a prominent American collector in early 2015 under a US Environmental Protection Agency/Department of Transportation „Show and Display“ license granted the same year. The car retains its factory air-conditioning system along with electric windows, which were standard 964 fare. Reverting to manual window winders would have forced Porsche to re-certify the model. Delivered from the factory in Speed Yellow (12G), this Lightweight features a black and gray interior with a black headliner and a full Matter integrated roll cage.»

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, München 2026, Schätzpreis 800’000 bis 1’000’000 Euro, mit diesen Angaben: «Among the 67 cars configured in left-hand drive is chassis number 479021, offered here. Ordered new by a Porsche VIP client, it was completed for German country code “C00” in September 1992 wearing ‘Paint-To-Sample’ Speed Yellow. Meanwhile, Black leather—the bucket seats and three-spoke steering wheel also feature yellow and grey inserts—trims the ‘Interior-To-Sample’ cabin. Optional equipment included an on-board computer, limited-slip differential, and a set of Dunlop tyres to wrap the 18-inch Speedline split wheels. Delivered in December 1992, the Turbo S Lightweight moved to Spain the following year and, since 1993, boasts single-family ownership. Alongside two stamps in the service book recording visits to Porsche España in 1993 and 1998, the car is documented by six ITV technical inspections carried out between 1997 and 2007, prior to tests in 2021 and October 2023. The catalogued odometer reading of 30,933 kilometres was mostly accrued during the first decade of ownership. Since the turn of the millennium, the car has been kept in running condition but rarely driven on the public roads. It was submitted to Porsche Classic Center Gelderland for inspection in October 2026. The corresponding report, available on file, notes the presence of the matching-numbers engine and gearbox. The car is offered for sale with its owner’s guide folio.»

Auktion: Bonhams, Paris 2023, zugeschlagen für 1’035’000 Euro, angeboten mit folgendem Text: «Never restored, this pristine and unmolsted 1993-model of one of the rarest and most collectible members of the Porsche 911 family was ordered in September 1992 and delivered new in December 1992 in Stuttgart, Germany. A resident of Munich, the first owner enjoyed the car up to 2000. The options list confirms the all-important Leichtbau specification, while the owner also ordered a Blaupunkt radio to be fitted as a special option (see correspondence with Porsche on file). The first owner had the car serviced regularly by the official dealer, Porsche Centre Munich: February 1994 at 3,124km; March 1995 at 5,151km; January 1996 at 6,250km; May 1997 at 7,520km; February 1998 at 11,252km; March 1999 at 14,670km, March 2000 at 17,660km. In 2001 the Turbo S Leichtbau moved to Belgium where it was owned by a Mrs Pauwels and serviced by RS Motors at 20,616 kilometres. The car stayed in Belgium up to 2007 when it moved back to its birthplace in Stuttgart, Germany with only 27,261 kilometres on the odometer. It was bought by the current owner, a private Porsche collector, in 2017 and the current odometer reading is just over 28,000 kilometres. As one would expect, the car is in immaculate condition throughout, commensurate with its sparing use. Indeed, the seats hardly show any wear and the colourful interior really screams 1990s Porsche».

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Monterey 2024, Schätzpreis 900’000 bis 1’200’000 Dollar, mit folgenden Informationen: «Specified in right-hand drive for the South African market, this Turbo S Lightweight was completed in November 1992 and was finished in Grand Prix White. Importantly, the car was configured with air conditioning added back in. Despite being built for the South African market, the car was shipped to a significant supercar collector located in Asia, where it remained in storage as part of his immense collection. During this time, the car was very rarely driven, and as of today it has covered just 130 kilometers (~81 miles) from new. As a result of the humid climate from where it resided, the car’s original paintwork had begun to microblister, and it was decided that the car would be fully repainted to bring it back to its former glory. Upon arriving in the United States in 2023, the car was entrusted to a marque specialist in Southern California where it was stripped down and repainted in its original Grand Prix White. Following the repaint, the car was fully serviced and fitted with new tires».
